One Yet Remains

Last night, two of the Lich King's most feared lieutenants, the Twin Val'kyr Eydis Lightbane and Fjola Darkbane, fell to the might of Rakicide's swords, arrows, and spells.  It was our first kill of them on Heroic 25 man difficulty and only the second horde guild on Turalyon to do it.  It took us about an hour and a half of wipes and strategy discussion to do it but we finally got it.  We eventually settled to having six ranged DPS soaking white orbs, two shadow priests soaking dark orbs, and the bosses tanked in the middle with melee.  I died twice due to getting swarmed by dark orbs (you can't deterrence your way through them) and getting rebirthed by druids.  We finished Twin Valks with about 33 attempts remaining to get Anub'arak down.  We took a few tries at him until raid ended at midnight.  Nothing good dropped from the Twins, not that I would have deserved loot anyways dying to stupid stuff.  All in all though, we did a damn good job for a guild that only raids nine hours a week.  Just goes to show, it doesn't matter how much time you put into something, it's the effort you make.  #1057 worldwide.  Go us.
